The Gold Coast is a stretch of about 80 kilometers of different Pacific beaches located at the northwest corner of Costa Rica in the province of Guanacaste. The most visited beach communities are Playa Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo, Playa Conchal, Playa Brasilito, Playa Grande and the Gulf of Papagayo. In this area you'll find all the amenities of luxury beach resorts, small family operated hotels, restaurants, bars, discos and casinos.

Some of the beaches have excellent breaks for surfing other are serenely for swimming and snorkeling. Take a horseback ride, a tour on quadras or visit the hot springs at the nearby volcanos.
